BSc. (HONS) HUMAN NUTRITION & DIETETICS (HND)
This four years (eight semesters) degree program, after Intermediate (Pre-Medical) or equivalent, prepares graduates to promote health, prevent disease, and manage nutrition-related conditions through evidence-based dietetics practice. The program combines food science, human physiology, biochemistry, clinical dietetics, public health nutrition, and food service management.
Students develop skills in nutritional assessment, meal planning, medical nutrition therapy, counselling, and community nutrition program design. Practical training, internship/house job, and applied projects help graduates serve individuals, communities, and healthcare institutions effectively, in particular as Clinical Dietitians and Public Health Nutritionists.
